What happened at the seminar “Using Artificial Intelligence in Visual Advertising”? 

Rayka, the first institute producing advertising teasers with artificial intelligence, held the first conference on “Using Artificial Intelligence in Visual Advertising” on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the main hall of Ivan Shams Hall. The event was organized by Rayka Cultural and Artistic Institute of Iranian Moons and examined the latest global developments and the use of AI in visual advertising.

The event featured demonstrations of the highest level of AI usage in filmmaking and creating Full AI advertising clips and teasers. It also showcased Iranian examples made in this style, facilitated by Rayka. The event was attended by entrepreneurs, brand owners, and marketing and advertising managers.

Dr. Atefeh Farhangikia, Chief Executive Officer of Rayka Institute, along with Hojjat Gholami, Artistic Director, and Amir Mohaqeq, Creative Director, were the three main speakers at this conference. Key topics included the rationale for holding such an event aligned with other leading countries in the Middle East, examining the latest uses of AI in advertising by prominent global brands, as well as film and teaser production with AI using cinematic language and creative storytelling—being done for the first time in Iran by Rayka’s expert team.


Highlights of AI filmmaking and teaser production include cost savings in production and execution, reduction of human resources and errors, creative and impressive content, high output quantity and variety with short turnaround times, elimination of legal obstacles and bureaucracy, execution of challenging environments that are otherwise impossible to create physically or digitally through traditional means. These advancements offer brands, companies as well as artists and designers new opportunities now available in Iran.
